IT'S NOT FOR EVERYONE. JUST THOSE WHO'D LIKE TO BECOME LEADERS.
Between the Junior Beta (grades 4-8) and Senior Beta (grades 9-12), the organization has helped nearly seven million students learn how to make a life for themselves—and, since 1991, it has awarded over $6 million in scholarships.
Although there are some universal requirements, each chapter has its own criteria for selection. Senior Beta includes grades 9-12. Regardless of division, though, members adhere to the Beta mission and learn to embrace and embody its four pillars.

Community service project
For the 2018-19 school year, Beta club is working with Stop Animal Cruelty Hot Springs and Garland Counties. This is a non-profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected animals. We are accepting many types of donations to help support this group. Donation boxes are located inside my classroom and Mrs. Harrison's classroom at the elementary. We will wrap up this community service project with an adoption day event on the school parking lot (date to be determined).
